About

SPRUNG MTB For Everything MTB

At SPRUNG MTB the buzz is all about the bike, the vibe is all about the ride. Because we believe it’s better to be great than big, you’ll love our shop. It’s intimate, but not limited. We’re individual and independent, with affiliations only to brands we trust because we’ve ridden them ourselves. We sell, build and service bikes and we reckon #lifestooshortforshitbikes. We love sending #bangers out of the #sprungdreamfactory. Just like you, our mtb passion is personal. Only difference is, we’re professional with it! We’re lucky to work with great people and great products. Our sales spaces, dedicated suspension section “ReSprung” and full service area are great places to work in everyday. We know. Poor us, right?! Whenever we’re not at work, we play! Our casual Thursday or Saturday shop rides make the most of Launceston’s local trails. Customers (and those who just haven’t become customers yet!) are welcome. Tassie’s stellar reputation as a riding destination is matched by our commitment to providing riders with the service, the sales and the smiles they’re looking for. Drop in any time to book a service, check out the bikes and apparel or just for a chat. We have a coffee machine in store, there’s even likely to be cold cans in the fridge!

"This is quite possibly the best bike shop with the best service we have ever encountered. We are traveling around the country and are only in Tasmania for 3 months but they made us feel like they were our local shop. The service is second to none and their humour is refreshing. Thank you guys for all you have done for us!"

— Lynn, Michael and Zachary from @GetOutThereAustralia

“SPRUNG IS THE BEST SHOP, MAYBE IN THE WHOLE WORLD. THEIR STAFF ARE INCREDIBLE, AND THEIR TREATMENT OF WOMEN AS BIKE RIDERS IS LOVELY. I DROPPED IN ONE DAY AND WAS IMMEDIATELY INVITED ON THE SHOP RIDE THAT EVENING, WHICH TURNED OUT TO BE THE BEST SHOP RIDE EVER. THE WHOLE CREW ARE AMAZING. WOULD RECOMMEND TO EVERYONE.”

— Caz Whitehead
